Midway Village Museum is home to over 150,000 artifacts related to the history of Rockford, IL and the surrounding Winnebago County. These artifacts include three-dimensional pieces, structures, textiles, and archival material.
Its 148 acre campus includes the outdoor living history Village with 26 structures and gardens, representing a rural community in Northern Illinois during the era of 1890-1910.
